Job Overview

We are searching for a friendly, reliable, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing, installing, building, hauling material, loading, unloading, assembling, maintaining, and improving various aspects of occupied residential premises, commercial facilities, and client homes. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic who can efficiently handle multiple tasks to ensure the safety and functionality of the tasks at hand. This position provides an opportunity to grow within Pinnacle NWA Handyman while contributing to the team and developing a diverse set of maintenance skills.

Job Duties

- Perform general repairs, including fences, decks, flooring, basic plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.

- Troubleshoot issues independently and implement cost-effective solutions promptly.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

- Install fixtures, appliances, and other hardware as needed.

- Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner when required.

- Keep records and photos of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

- Provide quality work and excellent customer service.

- Communicate effectively with clients and report any issues.

- Dress in company uniform, presenting a clean and professional appearance.

- Utilize scheduling software for communication, including phone calls and text messages.

- Place orders for jobs and procure materials as necessary.

- Assist in referring or upselling to clients.

- Manage workflow and time effectively.

Previous Experience

- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance personnel, or in a similar maintenance role with at least 5+ years of experience required.

- Knowledge of repairs, maintenance, basic electrical, basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting is highly desirable.

- Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, or schematics is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Neat and professional appearance.

- Valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance are required for travel between sites or procuring supplies.

- Own vehicle and insurance are required for the job.

- Own tools and equipment are essential for the job but not mandatory.

- A background check is required after the interview.

- You will be a W2 employee.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
